About Allie Ippolito
Allie Ippolito is a freelance photographer based in Philadelphia, PA. As a visual storyteller, Allie consistently observes her surroundings and prioritizes attention to detail while being a dedicated photographer who listens and puts in the time and effort to apply the human-first approach.
She is a graduate of Community College of Philadelphia with an Associate of Applied Science in Photographic Imaging in May 2018.
In February 2018, Allie won 4th place in Photographer's Forum Best of High School and College Photography Contest. In April 2018, she was awarded the Profoto USA Faculty Choice Award for Photography Excellence from the Community College of Philadelphia.
Allie is also a graduate from Temple University with a B.A. in Journalism. Since starting her time at Temple in Fall 2020, Allie became photo editor at the Temple News and, in April 2022, was awarded first place news photo for the Student Keystone Media Awards. In January 2023, she was in the top 20 finalists in the Hearst Journalism Awards for Photo Features/News Competition. She also won an EPPY Award for first place in best photojournalism on a college/university website. Allie also interned as a photojournalist for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
